We allow plenty of time for great evenings out and shopping trips to one of America’s most popular shopping malls – Pentagon City!

Based in central DC, your safari will take you to all of the major sights in Washington including:
- The Capitol Building
- The White House
- Library of Congress
- The Vietnam Memorial Wall
- Thomas Jefferson Memorial
- National WWII Memorial
- Lincoln Memorial and Reflecting Pool
- Washington Monument
- The National Mall
- Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum
- Kennedy Centre
- Washington National Cathedral
- Arlington National Cemetery
You will also explore Georgetown and Old Town Alexandria - two picturesque, historic districts in Washington DC filled with fantastic restaurants, bookshops, boutiques and other entertainment venues.
Each day we will start with a short presentation and informal discussion with coffee, followed by a quick overview of the course. Then, Philip will transport you to the day’s photo shoot locations.
The safari is open to all skill levels and abilities. It is a great way to capture some great photography in an unfamiliar city or to learn photography on vacation. By the way, if your partner isn’t as keen on photography as you are… don’t worry… we can suggest some great alternatives including incredible shopping trips!

- Latin Quarter
- Saint-Chapelle

- Centre George Pompidou
- Place de la Concorde

- Canal St. Martin
